Turkeys are slaughtered by having their throats cut. Traditionally a Goose or Cockeral was served as these animals are usually throttled instead.

Johnson, the vice president of the Edison Electric Light Company, had red, white and blue electric incandescent light bulbs wired to his Christmas tree.
