Non-boxing fans might be wondering who Harry Carpenter was but if I tell you he was the Harry that Frank Bruno immortalised in his catchphrase "Know wot I mean 'Arry?" that should shed some light.

For decades Harry Carpenter was THE voice of boxing in the same way John Motson is for football and Murray Walker was for F1.

Now sadly, aged 84, Harry passed away peacefully in his home.

May you rest in peace Harry and thanks for the wonderful memories Wink
