Is the subject important? Do you have to actually believe in the argument you're putting forward in order to enjoy a debate?

Is there such a thing as winning or losing a debate or is it just the taking part that matters?

To me El a good debate has differing of opinions not nesaserilly an argument but different opinions on the subject are important in debate .
