I don't Understand the reasoning

Is every immigrant in the UK a Muslim?, are Muslims the majority of UK immigrants? do they outnumber the Poles, Jamaican's, Indians ect . In the interest of fair play you understand i would like to know why when there is so much crime in the UK attributed to other Religions and ethnic groups in our Muli-cultural society and not forgetting our home grown crop of thieves, hooligans and yobs that Muslims and Pakistanis seem be singled out as the main source all that is bad in the UK.

If only that were true all we would need to do is arrest all Muslims and Pakistani's and the UK would be a crime free Utopia.

I didn't know Muslims were blamed for all the crime in the UK.I have heard that the black community are the most likely to be involved in knife and gun crime? The homegrown Yobs, thugs and lazy bastards are a huge problem, I think people are fed up with the Government importing more form around the world. The Somalian's are notorious in every country for being violent and there are plenty of them in the UK.

I think it's a combination of things...

Firstly the media are largely to blame. The public can only read the stories the papers decide to feed them.

Secondly, it's a question of reader focus. Some people are looking for specific stories and subconsciously ignore any story not involving an immigrant. In fairness to the tabloids there are a lot of crimes reported which make the papers and do not involve any immigrant whatsoever. It seems every other day we read about knife crime involving black youths or attacks on defenceless pensioners by white hoodie yobs.

Thirdly the Labour government is to blame. By allowing an infinite number of immigrants into the UK and overloading public services to crippling point they have created a lot of resentment towards newcomers. Why this resentment is not directed at the government instead of an immigrant simply wishing to work is beyond me.

Not every immigrant is bad (I'm an spanish ex-pat myself) and I think people often confuse the term immigrant with illegal asylum seeker. The two most certainly do not go hand in hand.

I agree with both your comments Earths and El, people who are Yobs, thieves, murderers are not determined by their colour or religion. I like or dislike people because of how they act in general and how they are with me personally that is why i posed the question, Some posts on here and other forums do target certain sections of society, sometimes this is justified but sometimes it is not. I just believe that we should target the right people and not use anything that goes wrong as an excuse to vent our feeling against one section of society or one Religious group.

Depends where you live I think Colin, here in Bradford the majority of the population is pakistani muslims ,so of caurse the majority of crime is bound to be pakistani muslim made.
The same in Oldham , dont get me wrong there are still enough white English here to leave their mark on communities, burgulary is the main crime round here amongst whites, but knife crime, drugs and pimping is a high round here for pakistani muslims .
