Political Correctness.....

The people who keep on saying that UK has gone mad with Political Correctness are the same people who take offense at UK Flags being burnt or something to that effect.. Now isn't that Political Correctness ??? Burning Piece of Cloth commands death ?? LOL ...

Also don't you find it incredible that the Anti-Muslim people get a coronary when they hear about someone being arrested for racially abusing Muslims.. They yell that UK is part of the West..... We are pioneers of Freedom of Speech ... The country has gone barmy LOL ... But when the Anjem Choudary and his ILK express opinions from the other side.. They want him hanged or deported or whatever..

PS : The idea of this thread is to point out the contradictions of the Haters of this world...

I think you have it all a bit twisted Rocky, I don't approve of hate speech, inciting murder, beheading people who are of a different religion etc. The Anjem Choudry's of this world, hook Hamza included more than preachers of hate. On the other hand, I would feel exactly the same if I heard anyone chanting 'Kill the Blacks' 'Kill all Muslims' 'Slaughter all Immigrants' etc.

I do think PC has gone crazy, its lke being in a Hitler Zone, we are told how we should think, feel, act, bring up our children etc. Before PC, there was never so much dislike for people from different countries or religions. I have always thought the British were very tolerant and accepting Nation. As soon as people such as Anjem Choudrey started their hate preaching on the streets of Britain, the people realized they had been far too tolerant for far too long, they saw how stifled they had become. The tolerant attitude fell apart when they were seen o get away with for so long, it seems (rightly) that they could use their voices, but no one else was allowed too.

I blame PC so many thing wrong in the world, it stifled discussion, made it racist to discuss anything that affected the lives of the British people.

I think there are three distinct groups of people. We have the far left extremists and the far right extremists with everyone else pretty much caught in the middle.

Like Ea says most normal people, regardless of their creed or colour, would get pretty angry if they heard somebody preaching hate towards any ethnic group simply for the sake of hate itself.

Anyone who believes in so called Freedom of Speech is, quite frankly, an arsehole lol. There is no such thing in the UK and there has never been. This is largely down to our prohibitive constitution which has laws telling us what we cannot do rather than what we can (as in seen the USA Bill of Rights). The UK has NO such Bill of Rights.

The inference I get from Rockstars post is that he perhaps feels the "haters of this world" are all Western when the Middle East has its fair share of haters with the very same contradictions.

IMO both groups of haters are the most vile despicable people on the planet.

choudary is a vile hate preacher and wasn't he deported,he was dealt with buy the law for a reason, he wasn't just expressing his freedom of speech he was also influencing others to commit crime, and here is my freedom of speech,if a person doesn't like the UK or its laws and hates it, or its indigenous people that much,they should find another country to live in,simples.
