Everyone voted, Cameron won…More votes more seats….The voters said they didn’t want Brown to run the country anymore…..Yet he’s still PM!! FFS

If this happened anywhere else we’d send the troops in!!

The rules surrounding this scandal stink as much as the expenses claims, they made these rules way back, I'd put money on it that it was labour that made these rules when they were in power in the 70's.

Here you go.. Very Happy

Under a parliamentary system of government, a hung parliament (also known as a minority parliament or balanced parliament) is a legislature in which no political party has an absolute majority of seats. This situation is normal in many legislatures with proportional representation such as the parliaments of Germany and the Ireland, or in legislatures with strong regional parties; in such legislatures the term 'hung parliament' is rarely used since this is the typical outcome of an election. However in nations in which the first-past-the-post voting system in single member districts is used to elect parliament, such as the United Kingdom and Canada, a coalition government or "hung parliament" tends to be less common, as in these circumstances one party will usually hold enough seats to form a majority, often without a plurality of votes on a national basis. To resolve a hung parliament will usually result in either a coalition government, a minority government – or even a dissolution of parliament and a fresh election. Frequent hung parliaments can result in smaller parties staying in power for decades as they switch support between the two or three major parties (for example the Free Democratic Party in West Germany).

I think it's a very unfair system, the Lib Dems were told by 77% of the electorate to go to hell, yet they seem to hold the balance of power. If the Tory/LimDems can't come to an agreement, they will go to Labour and the country will be left in the hands of thieving baboons.

27 postal votes went to one small flat in London, there could be thousands more. It is fraud by any other name. The system needs to be changed and more stringent measures put in place. The people should be allowed to vote in who they think can best run the country, that isn't happening right now. I don't get it!! 815275 I don't get it!! 815275
