Protestors in Parliament Square - Yes or No?
Protests in Parliament Square
In London recently there has been much furore over protestors in Parliament square who have set up a mini village to protest about various things ranging from the war in Iraq to World Peace. The protestors have indicated that they will not leave until their demands are met.
London Mayor Boris Johnson has branded the makeshift camp an "eyesore" and has made it his personal mission to evict the protestors.
What do you think? Should protests in parliament square be allowed and to what extent? I'm inclined to agree with Boris on this one. Protests are fine but not when they begin to encroach on others. Our capital and the Houses of Parliament are a tourist attraction and the sight of a bunch of smelly tree-huggers smoking weed and singing "Heal the World" really don't do us any favours.
Kill all hippies I say! lol
