Violent Protests in Parliament Square!!
Police today violently clashed with protestors in Parliament Square.
The protestors gathered there today to voice their concerns to Parliament about proposed cuts in the benefits system. We spoke to one of the protestors who had the following to say:
I fink it's an absolute disgrace! People depend on these benefits to live! If they're cut how will we survive? I've only just popped out another sprog and now you're telling me I have to support it?!
Another protestor added:
This cannot possibly be allowed to happen! Benefit cheats everywhere will take to the streets in protest and we intend to strike until our demands are met!
When our reporter tried to explain to this person that claiming benefits is not actually considered to be a career and that strike action might be therefore appropriate he was met with a barrage of abuse and hit over the head with an empty can of Super T.
The violence continued until 3.15pm when suddenly the crowd mysteriously dispersed voluntarily to return home. One innocent bystander suggested this could be due to the fact Jeremy Kyle begins on telly in fifteen minutes.
Police are expected to return in force to Parliament Square at approximately 1.30pm tomorrow at which time most protestors are expected to have finally gotten out of bed, showered, and hopped on the bus into London.
