Winstons Amazing Starter

Warm brie with Gooseberry sauce with Rocket and avocado salad.

I round of Brie cut into as many triangles as you need (I used one round per six people)

500 grams Fresh gooseberries (frozen or tinned would be OK)
1 Cup brown sugar
1 cup water
1 cup Masala (optional)

Cook the gooseberries in water,sugar and Masala until soft and sugar has caramalized.

Prepare salad. Put the brie triangles into a moderate oven and warm, take them out as soon as cheese starts to melt. Pour the warm gooseberry sauce over the cheese and a little on the salad. Serve warm. Serve with crostini or melba toast

This is a recipe from Winston, I tried it over the weekend and it really is the very best thing I have tasted in a long time. It's definitely a 5***** recipe.
