Is it just me, or does anyone else find it amazing that during the mad cow 'epidemic'

our government could track a single cow, born in Bourne almost three years ago, right

to the stall where she slept in the county of Lincolnshire, and, they even tracked her

calves to their stalls.
But they are unable to locate 2,500,000 illegal immigrants wandering around the country.
Maybe we should give each of them a cow.

They keep talking about drafting a Constitution for Iraq. Why don't we just give them ours?

It was written by a lot of really smart blokes, it has worked for centuries and we're certainly not using it anymore.

THE 10 COMMANDMENTS


The real reason that we can't have the Ten Commandments posted in a court or in Parliament,

is due to workplace rules devised by some well-meaing committee or other.

Should, "Thou Shalt Not Steal," "Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery" and 'Thou Shall Not Bear False Witness" be posted in a building full of lawyers, judges and politicians, it would create what they term a 'hostile work environment.'

I'm going to be really irritating now and say; well, actually, Britain doesn't have a written constitution. The closest we have to a constitution is the Magna Carta of 1215. Instead, Britain uses a system of precedents and common law.

Now feel free to tell me to piss off. It's ok. I'm used to it...lol

there is a forum on facebook called...the man who discovered milk...what was he doing to that cow !!!!!

Before man meddled n cows milk, the calves were left with their mommy to drink all her milk. Now they take the calf away when it is only a few day old and the poor cow cries for her baby for days. The babies are often turned into veal. We are nice humans aren't we...........they call it Progress!

look at it this way, if nobody ate veal, then the calf died for nothing,and thats a shame.

Veal is usually taken from the male calf isn't it? Most farmers will slaughter male calves anyway so why not eat them? Especially with a nice, sweet, masala wine sauce lol

Sorry EA but my favourite meal at my favourite restaurant is 'Veal a la creme' I try not to think of the animal I'm eating

okay bel next weekend down my local farm your choice .....you can shoot the stun gun .....or cut it's throat halah style....then you can cut it into little pieces and i'll cook you a lovely bit of veal my babber ...and watch it's mummy crying....

Right Chels that has really put me off now I'll have to find another favourite but it'll have to be meat-less
