Nick Clegg - Would Someone Explain To Him He Isn't Important?
Cameron and Clegg are being touted as the new partnership of British politics. What a load of tosh. Our Prime Minister is David Cameron and the deputy Prime Minister is Clegg. That's not a partnership...that's the equivalent of a boss and his office team leader lol
Seeing Clegg trying to share the limelight in No.10's rose garden last night was actually quite nauseating. He is there in name only and commands no real authority. The coaltion deal favours the Tories far more than it does the Lib Dems. Cameron knows he now commands a majority to push through any legislation that he can get Clegg to agree to. Should Clegg not agree on any particular legislation Cameron only needs to approach a few of the other minor parties (Green party, UKIP etc) for support.
Clegg on the other hand does not have the same luxury. Firstly he has no authoirty to push any legislation through in the first place and secondly, without Tory support, he cannot amass enough yes votes in the Commons for the majority he would need.
Rumour now has it that the next issue of the Oxford Dictionary will have a picture of Clegg next to the word Puppet...lol

M R cameron was hoping nobody would notice!
For goodness sake don't tell nick clegg he could get quite upset, and what a good move by Cameron, 54% of mps needed to call a vote of no confidence,to force another election.
Bad for the lib dems, very good for the country and a stable government.
i'm looking forward to these referendum,s, I strongly believe in them, people power!, something labour took away from us,really hope the Tories are true to there word.
