Totally agree it's silly money but that's football these days. On mechandising alone Chelsea will probably recoup the 50 million within the first year.

I think both Carroll and Torres have been signed for way way too much but I can't help but feel Chelsea have got more bang for their buck then Liverpool have with Carroll. Jury remains out on that guy IMO..
